Little Miss, Big Sis

1) Little Miss, Big Sis - This book might just choke you up a little ; ) It's a sort of companion book to another of my favorites, Plant A Kiss, and one of the most moving books about becoming a sibling I've come across. Just like Plant A Kiss, it's sweet (but not saccharine), spare, and just...great.

2) Baby Stella - This is my favorite first doll for toddlers, but my daughter (who is almost 5) still faithfully plays with the Baby Stella she got for her second birthday. I (of course) love that Baby Stella isn't plastic. She's also a well established toy with lots of accessories available (bath set, you name it), and she comes in different skin tones & hair colors, and also a boy doll version.

3) Ergo Doll Carrier - I love that this is a scaled down version of a real thing with the same functionality. These are great for kids who love to play with dolls, especially those whose parents will be using a similar carrier with a new sibling. Just like the full-sized Ergo carriers, these are high quality and well designed.
