1 - Plant A Kiss is such a simple, sweet book! Amy Krause Rosenthal and Peter H. Reynolds make a dream team in their first collaboration (their other book together, Little Miss, Big Sis, is another of my favorites and warranted a separate post here.) The spare, thoughtful, cleverly rhymed text tells the story of a little girl who plants, grows, and then sets out to share kisses. She returns to find that a sparkly, endless font of kisses has sprung up from her planting. Without being too on the nose, there are lots of great themes about the limitlessness of love, and the rewards of small acts of kindness and care.
2 - Grow A Little Love - There are tons of planting / seed kit toys out there, but I like this one to accompany this book because of the cute pink heart shape! Another great one is the Green Toys kit, with its 3 little yellow pots.
